I attended the University of Georgia for a BFA in Painting, and I studied abroad for 3 months throughout Cuba and for a year as an exchange student in art history and languages at the Ruprecht-Karls Universitaet in Heidelberg, Germany. I also did a 3-month internship at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy this spring.
